Day 1: Arrival in Havana

  • Casa Particular in Havana

Welcome to Cuba! Your journey begins in Havana, where pastel façades and vintage cars set the tone for a country that dances to its own rhythm.

Your guide and driver will greet you at Havana International Airport and escort you to your accommodation. Settle in and get ready for an unforgettable journey.

Day 2: Bike fitting and City Tour

  • 34km
  • +208m -209m
  • Casa Particular in Havana
  • Breakfast, lunch

After a restful first night in Cuba, it’s time to explore Havana on two wheels! Pedal through the elegant and leafy Miramar district, past the surreal Russian Embassy, and into Parque Metropolitano and Nuevo Vedado. Stop at the political heart of Cuba – Plaza de la Revolución – then cruise through Vedado to the iconic Hotel Nacional. Finish near the Bay of Havana, just outside Old Town.

This dynamic start to your adventure sets the tone for the tour and gives you an introduction to Cuba’s layered history and stunning architecture.

Discover delicious Cuban home-cooking at lunchtime in an Old Havana paladar restaurant.

You’ll want to spent the rest of the day exploring Old Havana’s backstreets and your guide will be excited to show you their favourite corners of this amazing city.

Day 3: Havana to Viñales via Las Terrazas

  • Casa Particular in Viñales
  • Breakfast, lunch, Dinner

After breakfast and check out we travel West to Viñales, stopping at Las Terrazas Biosphere Reserve — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and model for sustainable tourism.   Visit the community and learn about its reforestation efforts and spot endemic and migratory birds.  After lunch in one of the community restaurants,  continue to Viñales.

In Viñales, the landscape shifts dramatically—towering mogotes rise from the valley floor, and tobacco farms stretch across the horizon.  Viñales village is a pastel coloured farming town, nestled onto the valley floor  and surrounded by lush vegetation.

Settle into your casa particular for the night and explore the village and its many restaurants and bars.

Day 4: Sunrise Trek & Beach Escape

  • Casas Particulares, Viñales
  • Breakfast, lunch

Start the day super early!  With a sunrise trek to Los Acuáticos, a peaceful hilltop community with incredible views.  Our dawn trek takes us high above the valley floor and gifts us a birds’ eye view to watch the sun rise over this Jurassic terrain.

The rest of the day is yours to relax — we recommend an optional trip to the stunning white sand beach idyll of  Cayo Jutías for swimming and relaxing.

Day 5: Viñales to Cienfuegos via Bay of Pigs

  • Casas Particulares, Cienfuegos
  • Breakfast, lunch

Goodbye to Viñales and hello to the South Coast!  Today we travel to Cienfuegos, stopping near Playa Larga in the Bay of Pigs for a snorkeling session in the crystal-clear waters of Cueva de los Peces.  Explore the incredible inland cenote – aka deep seawater sinkhole or pool – and stop for a simple beach side lunch.  Maybe spot the worlds smallest bird!  The Bee Hummingbird calls this part of Cuba home.

From here, continue to Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South for its French colonial charm.

Day 6: Kayaking Adventure & Colonial Trinidad

  • Casas Particulares, Trinidad
  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast in your casa particular close to Cienfuegos Bay, it’s time to explore from the water!   Today we dip our toes and paddles into the Caribbean sea and take  sea kayak tour of Cienfuegos Bay, visiting the Nuestra Señora de Jagua fortress, swimming at Cayo Carenas, and paddling right up Rancho Cristal, where we enjoy a well-earned lunch right on the coast.

Then transfer to Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Cuba’s colonial gem, where cobbled streets and pastel mansions meet mountain views and Caribbean breezes.

Day 7: Leisure in Trinidad

  • Casas Particulares, Trinidad
  • Breakfast

Today is completely free for you explore Trinidad at your own pace.  Visit museums, shop for local crafts, or head for the stunning Playa Ancón beach, just 15 minutes away.  Your guide will be on hand to help you organize the day and will be eager to show you round town!

In the evening, dancing to live music in open-air bars is a must!  Grab a mojito and experience the joy of dancing around the town’s main squares.

Day 8: Cuban Cowboy Experience

  • Casas Particulares, Trinidad
  • Breakfast, Lunch

Today is all about slowing down, disconnecting from your phone and enjoying the rhythms of Cuban Cowboy life. Visit Finca La Lima, a working farm in the countryside. You’ll learn how  to milk a cow, press sugar cane, and you’ll swim in a hidden creek. Optional horse riding available.

You’ll eat at the farm, an organic lunch cooked over charcoal and using ingredients grown on the land, then return to Trinidad for another night of music and mojitos.

Day 9: Return to Havana & Classic Car Tour

  • Casas Particulares, Havana
  • Breakfast, Dinner

Travel back to Havana, getting there in time for a late lunch and an afternoon to explore Cuba’s vibrant capital.

In the evening, hop into a 1950s classic car for a scenic drive through the city, ending with a farewell dinner at a local paladar.

Day 10: Departure Day

  • Breakfast

Transfer to Havana International Airport for your flight home. Hasta luego! We hope to welcome you back to Cuba soon.
