Lucy was brought up in Latin America and started work in Tourism while studying Modern Languages at Bristol University.  She led Educational Tours throughout Europe and then moved to Adventure travel, working as a cycle guide in Jordan, Mexico, Brazil and Israel before leading the first charity fundraising bike ride to Cuba in 1997. Instantly charmed by Cuba’s beauty and culture, she cycled the length and breadth of Cuba over the next few years and set up Cubania in 2003, having seen the need for a team that could help travellers discover the real Cuba. She currently lives in London and works from Cubania’s London Sales office, making frequent trips to Cuba.
