Lazaro is from Arroyo Naranjo, just outside Havana. He studied Foreign Languages at Havana University and became an English teacher. The classroom couldn’t compete with the lure of the great outdoors and, when he was selected to train as an adventure tour guide, he was off! 15 years of exploring every corner of Cuba by bike, on foot, in a kayak and on the road has given him the deep knowledge of Cuba which makes him the perfect Head of Operations.
Naturally hyperactive, he still enjoys escaping the office to lead groups and explore new routes and itineraries.
